Pilates in the Plaza hosted by the Lubbock Parks and Recreation and Omni Pilates. Every Saturday in June beginning at 9:00am. Omni Pilates will be hosting free 30-minute Pilates workouts that will get you ready for the weekend! This workout is intended to get oxygen throughout the body, strengthen the muscles, and connect your mind to movement. Bring a mat or towel, water, and bug spray. 6th Annual Duck Derby and Family Fun Fest hosted by the Lubbock Legal Aid Society Inc. will be at the Buddy Holly Park N. University Ave and Canyon Lake Dr. begins at 11am – 4pm Lubbock area families are invited to a day of fun, food, games, and duck races! There will be live music, a bounce house, carnival-style games, and food vendors. This year, we are excited to debut the Ducko—a plinko-style game where participants drop a puck through the pins to win prizes.

Ballet in the Park from 10am – 11am 4020 30th St. Enjoy Ballet in the park! An open air outdoor fitness class for all ages designed to introduce and nurture students in the art of dance. Sunday Concert in the Park. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and picnics to Wagner Park for the 58th Annual Sunday Concerts in the Park. Listen to the Westwinds Brass Band perform every Sunday evening at 8:00 p.m. beginning June 2, 2019. Additional concerts will be held at 8:00 p.m. on June 9, 16, 23, and 30, and on July 7 and 14. Enjoy these free concerts for all ages and experience music out under the West Texas sky in this neighborhood park. A special thank you to the Westwinds Brass Band for their commitment to bringing music to the people of Lubbock every summer.
