The last bit of rain exited the region early this morning and then we were left with sunny and warm conditions the rest of the day. Below is a look at some of the morning lows and afternoon highs from today.

Click here to look at all the rainfall totals from the past 96 hours from the West Texas Mesonet sites. After the rainy conditions we have had over the past week we will now stay clear going into at least the middle of next week. With the center of high pressure moving directly overhead and a bright sunny sky each afternoon, we will have some of the warmest temperatures of the year over the next couple of days. We have yet to warm into the tripe digits in Lubbock this year, but that will likely change either tomorrow or on Thursday. The center of high pressure will move off just to the east of us over the weekend, so temperatures to start off next week should stay in the upper 90s instead of 100s, but that is about the only change we see over the next week.

I hope you had a great day! I will step you through the forecast tonight on the News at Nine and Christopher will have a complete updated forecast for you tomorrow morning.
