We made it to the upper 80s and low 90s today under partly cloudy conditions through most of the day. That will remain the case tonight, with a low around 66° in Lubbock.

Over the next few days, we have ongoing slight chances for showers and storms, especially in our western and northern counties. Monday will have the best chance, but even then it's only a 20% chance that you'll see some rain where you are.

Moving into the middle part of the week, we dry out and remain warm, with temperatures in the low 90s through at least Thursday. The mostly sunny skies will start to cloud up a little by next weekend. We'll also have another chance for rain. Right now, it looks like a few showers and storms could arrive as early as Friday, with a 20% chance for Saturday, which is Independence Day! By then, temperatures will dip back below the 90° mark.
