Suspect in custody after chase in stolen vehicle

A man is in custody following a police pursuit Tuesday morning. 

Officers located a red pickup that had been reported stolen out of Slaton.

When officers tried to pull the suspect over, he reportedly led officers on a chase. 

The suspect stopped the vehicle at 42nd and Boston and took off on foot, but was apprehended a short time later.
