LUBBOCK, Texas -

If you have old furniture in good condition and are trying to get rid of it, don't just dump it, donate it for a great cause.

The Lubbock Habitat for Humanity has opened a new location on the 800 block of Indiana Avenue giving anyone the opportunity to drop off and donate any unwanted furniture.

"This is a chance to give back to your community as well as shop," said Michael Fortner with the Lubbock Habitat for Humanity. "You know sometimes those don't go hand in hand in this case it is. So we welcome everyone to come out."

You also have the opportunity to purchase any furniture at this location. A percentage of the proceeds will go towards Habitat for Humanity's efforts to continue helping low income families here in Lubbock.
